Ms. Debbie Robinson

LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Personal Statement:

I am dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental and collaborative therapeutic environment for individuals to heal and grow. I take an authentic, compassionate and direct approach to therapy and am mindful to meet clients where they are in the healing process.

I support clients as they navigate life transitions and relationships, create a healthy work-life or school-life balance, build coping skills, practice effective communication, and set boundaries. I believe that by recognizing our resilience, challenging perspectives, and growing self-esteem, we can bring more peace of mind within our own lives. This makes space for more joy and self-love.

Though I am able to integrate different therapy styles, my primary focus is to maintain an empathetic, warm, and non-judgmental approach as the complex pieces of each client’s story are shared over time. I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is the foundation of effective therapy. I utilize not only my education and experience in the Social Work field, but also my own journey with emotional health as well as my humor, sarcasm, and genuine love for human connection. I arrive to sessions as a human first and therapist second.
