I believe change is achieved when there is an instillation of hope that inspires a person to move forward. As a therapist, I believe in being authentic, compassionate, non-judgmental and working as a collaborator in helping clients meet their goals. We all need space at times to just be and know that it’s okay.
I have worked in the behavioral field for the past 17 years with children and adolescents with a wide range of behavioral health challenges ranging from depression to ADHD to neurodevelopmental concerns. I also have several years of experience collaborating directly with the child welfare and juvenile justice systems.
I am well versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and have basic training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and I’m working on obtaining my certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
